In the factory producing his prototypes, Umberto Bellardi Ricci first sees the elbows of ventilation ducts, joined in groups of four and wrapped in crossed ropes. They have a curious shape, similar to a doughnut, and become a great source of inspiration for him. He calls them Torus and reinterprets them as the base for these singular ottomans with overlapping volumes, where industrial materials find a new aesthetic and function alongside soft and refined finishes.
