Two essential and rigorous forms, in perfect scale, bring a powerful architectural mark into the living environment through irregular surfaces and careful chromatic research. In Cassero, Roberto Sironi reinterprets the materiality of concrete in two low tables that recall the natural grain of raw wood, with which the formwork (cassero) – the wooden structure used in construction to hold the concrete while it sets – is made.

"I prefer to take away rather than add: I arrive at a piece as the conclusion of a process in which there is nothing left to remove. Only the essential elements remain, and everything else comes together in a balanced way."
