The amphora is an extraordinary testimony to ancient cultures, an object once used to transport food that today allows us to improve and deepen many historical and archaeological understandings. In this contemporary version, Studiopepe calls it Aqua Regis ‒ named after the alchemical solution capable of dissolving gold ‒ and transforms it into a vase with soft forms, a single lateral handle, and a large resting surface at the base, made on the lathe in semi-refractory engobe clay.
