Objects of Common Interest
"We thought about this project of mirrors as each of the pieces are independent and individual, but all together as a group they become a constellation."

Founded by Eleni Petaloti and Leonidas Trampoukis, Objects of Common Interest is a studio with locations in New York and Athens that operates at the intersection of art, design, and architecture. Their work has been exhibited at major institutions such as the Noguchi Museum, Vitra Design Museum, Nilufar Gallery in Milan, and the Design Museum in Brussels.
Petaloti and Trampoukis are also among the founders of LOT office for Architecture and currently teach Architecture in the Master’s program in Advanced Architectural Design at Columbia University in New York.

"The idea behind this was to create these resin objects with multiple facets and angles, allowing you to see yourself through the lens of color in various ways, ultimately offering the freedom to better understand yourself."
The studio Objects of Common Interest explores a wide range of scales, from small sculptural objects to installations, immersive environments, and public art projects.
It was founded with the goal of creating still-life installations, experiential environments, and sculptural objects, based on a deep fascination with materiality, conceptual exploration, and tangible spatial experiences. The studio’s work merges the contrasting influences of Greece and New York, transforming them into cohesive and visionary cultural narratives.
